Art At Cestria
We pride ourselves in developing children’s knowledge, skills, enthusiasm and motivation for art by providing opportunities for them to study artists and different artistic techniques throughout their journey at Cestria. Using Kapow Art, we ensure full coverage of the National Curriculum from Reception to Y6 offering sequential lessons and progression through the 4 key strands of Drawing, Painting & Mixed Media, Sculpture &3D and Craft & Design. The children study a range of diverse artists from history and across the world.
Kapow offers informative video demonstrations which, not only developed our staff’s knowledge, but provides clear instruction for the children too. They very much enjoy discovering and experimenting with different skills and techniques.
