SEN Curriculum At Cestria
We adapt the curriculum and learning environment for pupils with SEN:
- We ensure that children who need additional support have access to it and we provide additional resources to support their learning.
- We have additional rooms within our school which allows children to not only associate learning within their classroom but around the school too.
- We have a great understanding of the children in our school and ensure all of their needs are met through differentiated work.
- If children require personal spaces in the classroom or around school we do our best to ensure this is accessible. We have a Zen Den which can be used as a sensory area, a climbing frame for physical breaks and specialist teaching rooms including a room for specific targeted teaching.
